Chase Ultimate Rewards members can currently get 70% more Marriott Bonvoy points when transferring points to Marriott—a potentially useful opportunity for an upcoming hotel stay.
The limited-time promotion runs through October 15, 2026, according to the offer shown in the Chase transfer portal.
Here’s how the bonus works
The normal transfer rate is 1 Chase Ultimate Rewards point = 1 Marriott Bonvoy point.
With the 70% bonus:
• 10,000 Chase points → 17,000 Marriott points
• 20,000 Chase points → 34,000 Marriott points
• 30,000 Chase points → 51,000 Marriott points
• 40,000 Chase points → 68,000 Marriott points
For example, a transfer of 46,082 Chase points would generate approximately 78,339 Marriott Bonvoy points after the bonus.
The promotion runs from Sept. 15 through 11:59 p.m. ET on Oct. 15, 2026. Chase’s terms shown in the offer state that bonus points will be awarded by Marriott within seven days after the transfer is completed.
The important part
A transfer bonus doesn’t automatically make transferring points a good deal. Chase points can be used across multiple airline and hotel partners, while Marriott points are locked into the Bonvoy program once transferred.
The best use is to identify the Marriott property and award price first, then transfer only the number of Chase points needed.
The smarter take: A 70% bonus can dramatically increase the size of your Marriott balance, but the hotel reservation should come first and the transfer second.
